UNDERSTANDING YOUR PRE-TAX BENEFIT PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS

The Section 125 Cafeteria Plan allows you to pay for many of the benefits we offer with “before-tax” dollars (e.g., medical, dental and vision coverage). By paying premiums with “before-tax” dollars, you may reduce the amount of income and Social Security taxes that you otherwise would be required to pay. The elections made during the Cafeteria Plan enrollment period are effective for the entire 12-month plan year. Unless you experience a life-changing qualifying event, you cannot make changes to your benefits until the next open enrollment period. Refer to the Eligibility page of this website for information on what constitutes a qualifying event, and the associated timeframe you must notify Talent Management if you intend to make a change.
